While I expected more skills tips, I'd rate it 10+ because Gary is so sincere and open in these course sharing inner stories that can help you be more confident. Baseman is a great artist and the advise is worth. Blackie the cat leaves us a message, we will always miss you master. Thank you Domestika and Gary B.

El Curso es muy divertido, Gary Baseman es muy sensible y te lleva de la mano a descubrir tu propio estilo.

Je ne connaissais pas cet artiste. Du coup, j'ai été un peu déstabilisé par ce cours un peu autocentré. Mais une fois cet élément précisé, je pense que le cours vaut le coup d'être suivi.

Very inspiring

Gary Baseman's approach to keeping a sketchbook is simple, fun, playful and effective. I'd highly recommend this course for anyone who like me feels stuck when it comes to sketching daily. The course starts out with simple exercises that progressively get more complicated whilst keeping the fun. I've gone through the whole course now but it will take me some time to complete the exercises and final project. As the man himself says, it's about enjoying the journey and I truly am ❤️

I so loved this course. For a novice and a scaredycat, I felt inspired, gently encouraged and moved by Gary's presentations, his raw honesty and his tireless dedication to his art. I think I could watch him produce his art over and over, how he gives free expression to his life, and allow possibility to emerge through him onto his page. Thank you too, Gary, for taking us on a personal journey so that we may get in touch and find expression of our own humanity, through our work. Wonderful.

It was like Gary was right in my home, teaching me. So fasinated watching him creating his art in front of me! Breath taking! I have been a fan for many many moons. Would so love to see and meet you in person Gary, at the La Brea tar pits! It's on my bucket list!
