I joined in late for this course, but I must say that I am very happy that I decided to take it. Laura's step by step instructions are so valuable to me and I felt that I have learned so many new skills in such a short course.

Fantastic class. I got very inspired to experiment and use different tools and materials

This is a fantastic course! It was so much more detailed than I expected, and Laura went through her process in considerable depth. It's really pushed me to explore new avenues for creating, especially from videos and real life, and to just create the same subject over and over until it feels right. I had a lot of fun and though I'm still working towards my final pieces, I wanted to encourage anyone reading this to just get this course and get creating!

This class is exactly what I've been needing. My work has gotten tighter and tighter with time and this is really helping me to loosen up again, to play, to experiment. It has so much more material than I expected going in! What a gem!

One of the most inspiring classes I've taken! I really liked how the class focuses on overcoming the fears and training your eye, mixing materials and simply exploring. There are tons of videos on Youtube on watercolor techniques but learning about this mindset and process is super valuable.

Laura McKendry offers a wonderful class. Love the warm up of using right/left hand, different ways to use materials you find in nature. She suggests so many ways to free yourself & experiment your style, get out of comfort zone. Her voice is a joy to listen to, she is an inspiration. Thank you Laura!

This is a superlative course. I am enjoying it a lot and find it very inspiring and also well presented. The format is very friendly and I appreciate that it is something I can take at my own pace and fit into my schedule. The instructor Laura McKendry is terrific. I highly recommend it.

I am loving this course with Laura although I haven’t completed it as yet. She has inspired me greatly to practice and experiment with not only drawing, painting and mark making but also designing and creating with various things such as stones, seed heads etc which I “collect” and have not , until now used to their full potential. I am using different mediums such as dip pens and inks and sticks, feathers etc .

I love Laura’s voice and presentation and how she describes her struggle to become the creator she is now. It’s a real hero’s journey.
I just started the course and after seeing the second lesson I got so inspired and freed up already and after so long of being in a kind of frozen state, I just so easily made marks and colours that really abstractly described being lifted up and flying free.

This was my first domestika course and I’ve really enjoyed it. I feel very inspired to work with different materials. I’m trying out things I’ve never done before.
