I love Susana's relaxed style of teaching... she is very thorough and takes her time ... which also means that it is easier to keep up with the subtitles. This is a stunning method of presenting artwork and I look forward to exploring it along with this course.

I am confused about references to stitching. I was expecting use of a traditional definition of binding using thread, cord or string.

This has been a great course for me during lockdown. As an artist I have many sketchbooks and drawings lying redundant in my drawers. I have never made an artist's book before and Susana has been so clear and concise, that I now feel confident to explore this area . I was really impressed with the presentation, which took you through a number of materials and glues,explaining how they react with each other, plus two methods of developing the structure of the book. Thank you so much Susana.

This course is excellent. As a practising artist I have already made a few one off artists books, and done a couple of courses in bookbinding. I would not have thought it possible to teach such a practical and technical skill online.
Susan is highly organised and her instructions are clear and concise.
Her own art work is original and interesting, and her use of media inspiring. I have picked up many tips from this course and look forward to see more of Susana’s own work.

A clear and really well paced course. The explanations were crystal clear and the material references very useful. Lots of ideas for future projects in her summing up.
