I simply loved the course :) I have tried to work with Adobe InDesign without knowing the principles and techniques discussed in this course and I've always felt that something is not quite right with my designs. Now I know where they went wrong and how to fix them, how to plan my projects and execute them in a way that will fully reflect my creative vision and serve the practical goal the layout needs to fulfill on the page. This course was exactly what I needed - I highly recommend it :)

Este curso de Javier, me pareció muy interesante, práctico y útil. Soy un arquitecto que está incursionando en el tema del diseño gráfico y la aplicación de los conceptos básicos de diseño que detalla Javier en su curso son validos para cualquier profesión de diseño. Lo recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera conocer o refrescar sus conocimientos en diseño compositivo de presentaciones, portafolios, portadas, etc.

Es un muy buen curso de diseño editorial. Si no tienes conocimientos previos de diseño no lo aprovecharas en su totalidad aunque sigue siendo útil.

I am a graphic designer from Pakistan engaged in various fields of design.
All these years doing different things what I felt was I really enjoy myself doing typography and compositions and when I saw the course presentation I told myself that this course is really designed for me.

This is my second course from https://www.domestika.org, previously I was taking courses from lynda but again honestly speaking I found domestika really helpful and up to date.

El instructor tiene conocimientos del tema, pero el 80% del curso es Él presentando trabajo de otros y leyendo mientras presenta (y leyendo monótona mente), pocas veces realiza un ejemplo práctico real, hubiera sido más dinámico si trabajaba algo y lo explicaba.

No me gustó mucho, soy diseñadora y creo que todos los tips que da los puedo encontrar en internet navegando, además que los ejemplos gráficos de editorial en su mayoría son muy antiguos y no reflejan audacia.

Corso interessante!

Un curso super completo, muy bien explicado. Es como un repaso general condensado, super claro. Indispensable!

very interesting cpurse, gave me an idea how to apply theoretical design principles to layout.

The course, in general, is very good, with good tips and tricks, I have an issue with the nature of the examples, the examples are very luxurious, it is not the kind of most popular page layouts, plus, the practical aspect is a little be short. I wish their examples from the brief you get from the client to the final page layout.
