Art is my therapy. I’ve sold a fair bit but consider myself an emerging amateur artist. For me it’s an emotional release. I paint with a local group and we have an annual art show and I guess people can identify with my pieces.
I painted in high school, but my career was fashion design prior to getting married and having five children… even then I did have side hustle businesses that fed my artistic and creative soul. At a point in my life with much grief I pulled out my art, re invented my life and I’ve been painting now for 30 years. I consider myself abstract expressionist and it’s more about what YOU see in the art.
