Mary Considine

I’m interested in history and would love to write plays with historical themes. I’m a member of a play writing group and have written some 10 minute contemporary plays. I would like to write about people who lived in my local area of North Wales during different periods of history, especially those who have been largely forgotten but who achieved something admirable in their time. I find Shakespeare’s plays inspiring and also many plays I have gone to see locally that had historical themes, eg most recently, The Mold Riots and Celebrated Virgins.
