I am retired but I was a psychotherapist and teacher of anatomy and physiology amongst other things in the past. All my life I have dabbled in different crafts – e.g. spinning, macramé, lace making, knitting. I have arthritic hands so crafting is a slow and a bit awkward process, but I get there. I have always been involved with traditional folk singing, dancing and music. Over last few years I have turned my study of art history into practical learning, joining a life drawing class 3 years ago and translating sketches into mixed media textile works.
