I am a Hand Embroiderer based in London, UK.

I am passionate about forgotten hand embroidery techniques. Through my work, my aim is to showcase their potential and how these can be reinterpreted in a contemporary way.
I am particularly inspired by needle lace making which come with their own aesthetic luggage which can be challenged, thanks to the incredible depth in terms of techniques and variety it has to offer. Lace is also a play on positive and negative space, and what negative space can reveal in the background.

A large part of my work also focuses on embroidering with straw, which combines my love of technique and material exploration.

When not in my studio, I work for fashion brands here in the UK on various projects, including catwalk collections and private commissions.
