Hello, everyone! I’m Dani, the creative mind and maker behind CJ Design (in English) and Danii’s Ways (en Español). I’m originally from Chile but now call Canada home, where I live with my family—Cale, Luca, and Isabella.

I learned to knit at the age of 8, thanks to my grandmother, who patiently taught me. I picked it up quickly and, over the years, continued to knit here and there. During my university days in Chile, I taught my best friend how to knit, and together we launched a small brand selling knitted hats. That experience sparked my entrepreneurial spirit, and I’ve been chasing creative dreams ever since. Turning my hobby into a full-time career is truly a dream come true!

Fast forward to today—I’m a full-time content creator, pattern designer, and YouTuber. It’s been an incredible journey to do what I love every single day. I started my YouTube channel in Spanish back in 2016, focusing on sewing tutorials. Over time, I discovered crochet and fell head over heels for its endless possibilities. That passion led me to shift from sewing to knitting and crocheting entirely. Once I felt confident enough with my English, I launched CJ Design. Many people ask what it stands for—it means Cozy Journey Designs. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision that stuck, but it perfectly captures my creative journey.

These days, CJ Design is my main focus, although I still share patterns in both English and Spanish. My designs combine modern aesthetics with cozy, approachable vibes. They’re simple yet stylish, and I aim to help you create pieces that you’ll not only love but also feel proud of.

My patterns are perfect for crocheters and knitters of all levels. They may look intricate, but trust me, they’re easier than you think! With each tutorial, you’ll master the basics and walk away with beautiful, handmade pieces you can cherish or gift. Are you ready to fall in love with this craft and never stop?
