This is a simple bookshelf made totally from offcuts and scrap pieces of wood I inherited from my dad's collection. There was no set plan or method to it; I made it up as I went along. It contains soft wood and plywood and is held together by glue, wood screws and pocket holes. I fitted it at the perfect height for my two year old daughter to select her favourite book for a bedtime read.
