Kathryn Munn

Hi there, I'm Kitty! You can see my most recent drawings in my cover photo, some gorgeous cartoon dinosaur drawings I made for my work space. I'm a speech therapy assistant in a primary school!

There has always been some sort of creative element to my life, whether it be making art wearables, performances and installations at university, playing the viola, creating things out of different fabrics, materials and yarn, or drawing.

For most of my adult life I have been living with mental illness and my creativity gives me a way to express myself and my emotions. My creative practice ebbs and flows and I love how I can dip in and out, that it's always there when I need it.

Another big project I have going at the moment is I'm training my 2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, "Rosie," to be my assistance dog. I'm slowly including her in my daily life outside of my home and hopefully in 12 months or so she will be able to come "everywhere" with me!
