Carol Navarro

Hi!

I am Carol Navarro - a TV/Film writer, aspiring filmmaker, video editor, and artist from Manila, Philippines.

I graduated with a degree in Communication Arts in Miriam College, school year 2015.
My first and current job is with ABS-CBN, the number one network in my country.
I began as a brainstormer and concept developer. Eventually, I was able to climb up to a junior writer status after writing for 3-5 shows.

I have been in the entertainment industry for 5 years and I have acquired extensive experience when it comes to all aspects of production.

On the side, I practice filmmaking (specifically, directing) since I do want to shift to that field. I participated in film workshops that have helped me develop more skills outside the classroom and the network.

To keep my creativity flowing, my hobby and freelance work revolves making art commissions. In some instances, I do post - production for projects with reputable organizations and companies.

Sharing what I have learned all throughout my creative journey, I became a part-time professor at the school where I graduated from.
