Judith van Rijswijk

Hello, my name is Judith and I live in Bunnik a village near Utrecht. A few years ago I had to stop working because of a muscle disease. I had a lot of spare time but my hobby's (crochet and sewing) where no longer an option. I started drawing and when I had to rest I looked at many tutorials. Last year in 2020 I gave myself a challenge. I struggled a lot with watercolor and I had to paint one more time with watercolor and when I liked the result I would paint more but otherwise I had to give up and sell my paint and brushes. I liked the result and now its my most favorite media to work with. I mostly paint portraits. Most woman. But I like to paint flowers and animals as well. And I still have a lot to learn so I love all the lessons on Domestika. It s such a wonderful platform and I love the way of teaching. Love to learn a lot here and love to see all the creativity of other students. I started a YouTube channel with art tutorials @artbyjuud
