I have been dabbling in art for many years doing urban sketching, watercolour and also oil. A number of years ago I completed a full time year doing art and design. I now have more time to paint and sketch though rarely produce something I feel gets it. I have been intrigued by a number of different styles tho throughout have come back to urban sketching with watercolour influenced by John Singer Sergeant - I need to relearn all the basics so that what I produce looks far more real and in proportion. I find it hard to put ideas down onto paper or canvas and achieve what I set out to do. Still enthusiastic!
