I am an embroidery artist based in Brooklyn. Mostly I am inspired by nature and folklores from 2000 thousand years ago. To paint with threads makes me feel the beauty of life and successfully gain inner peace. I do 3D embroidery which may be called stumpwork embroidery as well. Wires underneath the embroidery help raise the object up and shape the outline as needed. Thread painting is the method to give the work colorful and vivid effect. Not only work on 3D embroidery, I also explore any possibility to transform my art to wearable pieces, such as jewelries and handbags.
