At VeraContent, we are looking for a Sweden-based social media enthusiast who can fill the role of:
Social media community manager for the Swedish market
- Instagram & Facebook
*Our client is an app that fights food waste.
This role entails:
- Posting content (feed posts and reels) on social media premade by the client
- Reposting stories of UGC, feed posts and interactive content
- Engaging and managing the brand’s community, which requires being:
~Reactive: answering comments and messages in a timely manner
~Proactive: finding creative ways to engage the community and inspire them to join us in our mission to fight food waste
Main tasks:
- Collaborating with the client on social media strategy for the Swedish market
- Scheduling posts throughout the month on Instagram and Facebook
- Suggesting effective ways to adapt our client’s social media calendar for the Swedish market, considering local trends, current events, holidays, popular local influencers, etc.
- Managing social media content and interacting with users on a daily basis and in a timely manner
- Understanding and adhering to social media best practices (which will be explained to you)
- Trying out new methods and strategies to grow engagement, especially implementing creative and fun stories which will further position the brand as the go-to account for fighting food waste in Sweden
- Checking content sent over and spotting any mistakes before posting; suggesting ways to enhance or improve the content if necessary
- Being in touch with the client(s) on a daily basis to provide feedback and insights to make the workflow as smooth as possible
- Sharing feedback/insights about the community with the client
What we're looking for:
- Native-level Swedish. Excellent writing and communication skills in Swedish and strong grasp and understanding of English as well.
- Be from and based in Sweden
- Experience in social media community management
- Understanding of social media best practices for businesses, especially on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Able to bring fresh ideas to the account based on knowledge of current trends and how to leverage them
- Experience with scheduling posts and using social media management tools such as Sprout and Meta
- Strong time management skills and responsiveness (be able to be in touch with the client and the VeraContent team throughout the day via Slack, and have time for occasional calls)
- Availability to work an average of 4-5 hours a week for this project
