Carlos de la Sierra

I’ve been creating applications across various platforms since I finished my Visual Arts studies in 2001. I speak and write fluidly in JavaScript, TypeScript, ActionScript, PHP, English and Spanish.

Currently, I’m working with React, Angular, RxJS, SASS, Gulp, EaselJS, Webpack, ThreeJS, Air, Starling and Box2D, among others.

I create organized, scalable code based on OOP. I use REST APIs, and I program with design patterns in mind.

Throughout my career I’ve developed abilities and experience in a variety of disciplines within both development and design, resulting in a global understanding of the creation of digital products. I communicate well with product managers, designers, programmers and clients to make sure all stakeholders are on the same page in every aspect of the project.

My work has mostly been focused on Frontend development, but with my interest halfway between code and creativity: I’m proficient with design, illustration, animation and sound editing tools, which offers a big advantage when working and communicating with designers.

I enjoy my work, and commit to each project I participate in.
