Initiation à la sculpture figurative en argile

Working along with the class and it's really fun! I find myself looking at faces more closely to see the subtle shifts. This is a great class.

I have never made a bust before. The instructions were excellent but I still took a few different approaches because I could not get the neck body attachment correct. I like how it turned out and will make more of these. I chose to use photos of a native woman named Pretty Nose. I really wanted to sculpt Sacagawea but apparently there are no photos of her.

I love this course, Christina goes into so much detail, clearly covering everything off, so that I was not left with any questions.
Her presentation skills are excellent.
The sheets listing the tools along with the bust pattern are a bonus and something I can always refer back to. I feel more confident now to try and sculpture a bust for the very first time. I loved this course and definitely plan on making some sculptures in the future. I prefer to keep my sculptures smooth and lifeline as much as possible, instead of the final steps she took though.

I hope she does another sculpting course!

I've sent links to Domestika courses to two people this week. I am so impressed with the adult teaching standards they meet (I have a masters in adult ed.) Really, I don't think I've ever seen such consistency. This sculpture class inspired from the beginning. The street cred of the instructor is so impressive and to get her at this price.... it's shameful to call it a bargain. It's a gift! I loved the course.
