Cristina Cordova's method is really interesting! I had already created a ceramic sculpture starting from a block of clay, taking over 24 hours of work. With Cristina's method, in just 12 hours of work I completed the sculpture which will go into the oven for firing in a week. Thank you for your interesting course.

I teach ceramics at a university level. I strongly recommend this course for experienced beginners and advanced students. Professional artists will benefit from her great advice, techniques, tips. Excellent step by step tutorial with clear explanation. Complete beginners may find it frustrating, controlling the clay's moisture/stiffness is a challenge for those without prior experience. This method uses water-based clay (not air-dry or polymer) and you need access to a kiln to fire your work.

This course is an excellent introduction of figurative busts. It lends itself to be creative even with the one template fits all method. The instructor was clear in her instructions and understood that many who were perhaps taking the course had little to no clay sculpture experience. I highly recommend it to the beginners and to those who have clay experience. I am using this knowledge for myself and for my students. Thank you Cristina Cordova for sharing your knowledge!!
