I’m really enjoying this course by Daniel Segrove. I’m learning to draw the portrait in a different way and how to abstract the portrait. Abstraction of the portrait figure is the main reason that I took this course. I’ve learned a lot about the abstraction process and application.

I really enjoyed this course. Daniel’s instruction is thorough and clear. I really appreciated that he went to the trouble to explain a couple of different approaches to working out proportion when making a portrait. The mixed media abstraction techniques were interesting. It would be great if Daniel was able to provide more timely feedback when students post questions

Ich hab mir mehr erhofft. Der Kurs ist OK, aber mehr auch nicht. Vielleicht traut man sich mehr danach zu experimentieren, aber ich würde ihn nicht wieder kaufen.

Este curso te propone explorar con diferentes técnicas y materiales para darle un giro de abstracción a un retrato casi realista. Me encantó la fase de intervenir y crear otra obra a partir del dibujo de base, fue algo atrevido porque corres el riesgo de arruinar un dibujo con el que estabas satisfecho, pero vale la pena arriesgarse en ese proceso y ver qué surge.
