I highly recommend this course. Carne Griffiths is easy to follow and explains his process in a clear step by step way. This was my first experience using ink and I really enjoyed it.

This is a great course. Carne Griffiths gives fascinating background to his work, and takes one step by step through the process of creating a portrait in his style. The portrait is built up in a sensitive way, and I found it a very useful way to free up my painting, enjoying incorporating "happy accidents" into the final piece. It has encouraged me to use inks and teas in future work.

This instructor has an interesting professional artistic background, but more importantly he is a very good teacher. He demonstrates clearly the process he uses for creating beautiful and layered portraits using unusual methods and materials. I learned an enormous amount from this course, and I hope he offers more in the future.
