I was born on January 31 1990, in Prilep. I completed my secondary education at the high school "MIRCE ACEV" in the city of Prilep with great success. In 2013 I graduated from the study program History of Art under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Aneta Serafimova, at the Faculty of Philosophy (UKIM) in Skopje. The second cycle of studies I enrolled in the study program Restoration and Conservation – tempera technique, at the Faculty of Fine Arts (FLU) in Skopje, under the mentorship of Blagoja Kuzmanovski, MA. During the course of my studies, I especially devoted myself to the study of Byzantine art, but the Renaissance and many contemporary artistic movements, such as Impressionism and Expressionism, left a deep impression on me.
2015 I participated in archaeological scientific research as archaeological illustrator at the site Scupi, as part of the project "Scupi - theater".
From 2016, I work with the Art Gallery at the NUCK "MARKO CEPENKOV" in Prilep, as an external collaborator - art historian, writing critiques for exhibitions of various Macedonian authors.
2020 I became the author of the monograph "STEVAN VASILESKI - LIFE AND CREATION", collaborating on the project with two other authors/art historians: Lepa Milosevska and Elizabeta Ivanoska.
Today, I live and work in my hometown of Prilep.
INFLUENCE
My mother's fashion creations had the greatest influence on my interest and dedication to art. Often, she would draw female figures in beautiful dresses for me to color. Coloring non-stop for hours was my favorite activity.
Also, my aesthetic taste in childhood was influenced by the Japanese animated TV series "Sailor moon" from the Toei Animation studio, Disney cartoons "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast", the American animated TV series "Scooby-Doo, where are you!" and "The adventures of Tintin" created by the Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi (who signed under the pseudonym Hergé). I developed a special respect for children's illustration while flipping through the pages of the story book by the Brothers Grimm translated into French and illustrated by Renáta Fučikova, as well as the fairy-tale illustrations in one of the most famous children's book in Macedonia "For Your Birthday" by the author Snežana Pejaković – Kiković.
With the beginning of my school education, I got to know the illustrations of our Macedonian illustrators and artists: Dimitar Kondovski, Aleksandar Cvetkovski, Mladen Tunic and Aleksandar Kaevski through the obligatory readings and the children's magazine "Rosica". In my teenage years, I admired the Japanese animated cartoons of Studio Ghibli: "Princess Mononoke" and "Spirited away" by Hayao Miyazaki, as well as the Japanese-British animation "Ghost in the Shell". During the course of my studies, I get acquainted with the remaining animated movies of Ghilbi Studio: "Howl's Moving Castle" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" by Hayao Miyazaki, as well as "Grave of the Fireflies" by Isao Takahata. On the recommendation of my older brother, I watched the Japanese animated TV series "Bleach" by Pierrot Studio and I fully dedicate myself to follow the narrative of this beautiful work of art.
I also enjoy illustrations by British author Beatrix Potter and American artist Norman Rockwell.
The desire to create illustrations appeared in 2017, after I followed the work of Cuban illustrator Frans Meneses through her social media on youtube and instagram.
