"I`ve been drawing and painting since I was a kid."

I am born and bred resident of Lapland, lived in Rovaniemi all my life. Lapland influences my painting in many different ways and strongly.

This landscape, shaped by the distinct light and space typical for Arctic Circle area, creates the extraordinary atmosphere, regardless whether it is summer or winter. My way to paint these landscapes is intuitive and abstract, which always gives space for chance and sometimes the mystical arises up into the pictures. Are those elements the brush traces of gnomes or other underworld creatures? Paintings may be a bit weird but in a good way and beautifully.

In my creative work, I do experiment a lot and use boldly different techniques like watercolor, pastel, acrylic, mixed media, monotype etc. as well different materials and colors in my paintings and unique jewelry.

Colors, strong and powerful and beautiful, are the key elements in my creative work, the lukewarm expression is not my cup of tea. I believe in colors and in their therapeutic effect to life.

I am by profession Rosen-Therapist and Vedic Art teacher as well mixed media artist. My motto: Life is art and art is life.
