Tomoko Otani

I am a Japanese artist and community art tutor based in mid Wales, UK. I do printmaking and collage, and promote the concept: 'Art as a Healing Tool'. As a person living with cancer, I am currently working on a picture book about the illness, talking about it from a scientific point of view. I want to expand my area of expertise to design book covers and posters for various community projects. I love poster art by Japanese artist Tadanori Yokoo, as well as graphic designs used for Penguin paperbacks.
