Laney C.

My name is Laney. I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. My personality is optimistic, outgoing, friendly, and responsible. I graduated from university with a degree in International Bussiness Management. I have decided to explore my vision on management skills in different countries.

I’ve worked at Eslite Corperation for the four years. Eslite is a conventional department stores that established in 1989, it first started with a 24-hour bookstore, and later enlargered to provide more services such as retail shopping, restaurants, and hotels. I first worked at Eslite Coperation as a part time job during college, and later was promoted to a full-time associate after I graduated. During customer service position, I assited customers and supported the sales team. And then I was promoted to operational manager; the job was to search for new vendors, negotiate for contracts, and create more business opportunities for our deparment.

While working at Eslite, I have learned many skills, such as brand designing, generate daily financial report, and advertisement. Moreover, my communication, time-management, and coordination skills was greatly imporved under this job. Overall, I consider myself a self-starter, a good team player, and I work well under pressure by myself.

Although Taiwan is a convenient country, but the pace of life is really fast. After I left Taiwan, I lived in Australia for three years. I love there sunny and beaches. I also fell in love with freediving and camping.

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area now. I like to take on new challenges, and I am always excited to explore in different fields. Because I want to be a better me.
