The ClayRooms

The ClayRooms is an open access professional pottery studio in the historic heart of The Peak District, offering pottery workshops, courses and memberships both in person and digitally.

Co-founded by Wildlife Sculptor and art educator Helen Cammiss and Industrial Ceramic Designer Sarah Heaton, the ClayRooms inspires beginners to try something new as well as equipping more experienced potters with professional skills and knowledge. Our courses cover everything from throwing on the potters wheel to hand building and sculpting ceramics with a wide range of options to get you started on your pottery journey.
