Sheila Dobson

I am 74 years old and retired. A mother of 5 and a grandmother of 6 children. I have been painting as a hobby for around 14 years , and done short courses locally as a hobby painter. However, I do feel that my work has not improved as much as I would like. I have belonged to a weekly art club, but often felt that my work was not as good as some others and would like to improve . I have tried out most mediums in the past ...oil(a little many years ago), pastels, acrylics and watercolours. I spent most of the years trying to do watercolour simply because I found it difficult and wanted to master it! Still trying, but I also take a break sometimes and paint in acrylics for a change. Obviously I am not looking for a career at my age, but just want to feel happier with my results.
