Sandra Holle

I am a former graphic designer and graduated in Fine arts in 2020 with a MA in creative practice in 2021.

I am interested and curious about so many different materials and techniques but what all those branches of interest have in common is, that I look at everything I make from the perspective of wellbeing. and the positive impact haptic stimulation can have on our wellbeing. Positive emotions are good for us so my main aim when I’m creating something or experiment with a new material, form or technique is, to create something that not only looks good but also is enticing to touch, hold, walk around and explore and put your mind at ease, refocus and calm.

I mainly work in concrete and base metals at the moment but I realise that I want to implement other materials like recycled plastic and glass as well.

My forms are to a great extend intuitive since I find it helpful to not focus on the visual outcome at first but on the tactile result of an intuitive forming process. I also go with what the material offers me and try to work with it rather than trying to push it into a counter intuitive direction.
