How nice ... I also have a weakness for Dachshunds :)
I really like the final project, especially you have been able to capture their expressions very well and get the tender side out of it. Maybe it would be nice if you try one that is sitting and focus only on the face, looking at the camera, so you can try new postures.
As for retouching, I wanted to give you a little trick. Sometimes the white background has blue or magenta dominance depending on how we have the camera configured. In your photos, I see the background bluish / pink. In photoshop you can make a new adjustment layer, saturation tone and choose blue first, magenta ... or the dominant one that the photo has and give it to lower saturation. You will see how the photo acquires another tone.
Thank you very much for finishing the course and sharing your project with us!
