Finally my first project !! I used the random embroidery (not to say that I did not know how to fill my birds in an orderly way) and I found that it made a good contrast to leave some birds only outlined. I wanted to experiment with more stitches and colors but I think that was enough. Indeed the silver thread is not very docile but I loved putting it on. Two very important things I learned with this project: 1. Be careful with the rubber! And 2. The pritt is not as harmless as I thought ... 🙈.
Personally I really like that composition. Do not use vinyl adhesive, prepare 3 parts of water and 1 of starch, and microwave until it is transparent like jelly. Adheres flawlessly and cleaner than vinyl and best, if you make a mistake when gluing you can correct immediately without damaging the paper.
No the pritt is not as tame as it seems! In fact that's why the machine option to join the parts works very well. Let me tell you that your project is a beauty, I loved it. One of the hardest things to understand is knowing when to stop and I think you have an excellent awareness of this. Your project is elegant, subtle and vaporous; in my opinion they are the most difficult characteristics to achieve in embroidery. Congratulations, I'll share your beautiful piece on the studio's fanpage on FB :)
!! Congratulations!!
