Diana Rikasari x Lazy Oaf

In this special collaboration with London-based fashion label Lazy Oaf, Diana Rikasari was invited to reimagine and upcycle pieces from their deadstock archive, giving past-season items a fresh and imaginative second life.

The goal was to explore storytelling through transformative design, where sustainability meets whimsical expression. The process involved hand-selecting unused stock and creatively reconstructing it into new, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Materials used for this project includes a green jacket featuring Lazy Oaf’s signature all-over print, dress and t-shirts from past collections

1. Jacket Rework:
A signature Lazy Oaf jacket was transformed using playful fabric inserts, applique elements, and an added ruffle collar made from repurposed dress, creating a fun, character-driven look with layers of detail.

2. T-Shirt to Detachable Collar:
One of the brand's classic t-shirts was turned into a detachable Peter Pan-style collar with a contrast ribbon tie, turning something simple into a statement styling piece.

3. Puffy Tote Bag:
Using the soft material from another t-shirt, Diana Rikasari constructed a padded, puffy tote bag.
