Amazing materials and technics, not so dissociated from watercolour portrait painting methods.
Unfortunately, I had no satin paper, and the surface was not smooth at all. I started with gesture and structure using a too dark charcol that I couldn't erase completely in the following steps. Corrections and erasing were really an issue in this work, and I have to find a way to better manage them. There are some mistakes, but I can't fix them anymore.

Teacher PlusBravo Enrico,
of course, you should use a hot press sheet (satin) in order to have a smoother and better workable surface, I also recommend using drier or harder type H or fusaggine charcoal.
the use of the bottom is very good and also the gesture in general.
It's time to make a new one with these tips and experiment with a final project that is different from mine, that is to search or take a picture or better yet try it live.

Still, you kept with it till the end, which is a sign you take learning opportunities when they arise. Considering the challenges your experienced, I think the result is still interesting. I like her facial expression which you were still able to convey.
