Nice work Gustavo! This is a very captivating image and I think you did a great job using the idea of the underwater statue and adding your unique spin to it. I really like the statue that you used showing this Poseidon character as the lord of the sea. The composition is great, and I think you handled the lighting and shading very well with all the elements. Also, it looks like you really experimented with light effects using images of lightning and glowing effects on the trident and the statue's eyes. I hope that taught you how much you can add with visual effects to your images. I think the underwater section looks great as well, it adds a lot of depth with the blurred waterline and I like the low-angle view of the coral that you used. Part of me wants it to be a little more blue toned, but it is also an interesting color contrast with the reddish coral you used. The atmosphere of the sky is very nice too, and I like how you added a motion blur to the seagulls, that helps the image look even more dynamic. The tropical birds are very well placed, and you did a great job with the smaller bird interacting with the turtle part of the statue. Details like that really make the difference and help tie everything together. The parrot is great as well, I love the color and placement of him looking the opposite direction, and things like that definitely help your eye move around the piece. The only thing I noticed is that the edges of the parrot are a little too blurred, so in the the future I would clean that up with a smaller brush or even use the pen tool to make a cleaner cutout. But, overall this is incredibly creative and a very strong image. I'm glad that you learned a lot of useful techniques and did so much experimenting with visual effects. I hope you keep going and exploring different types of images you can create using digital collage. Cheers!
