I have always liked being creative whether drawing, sewing, knitting, or crocheting. Raising a family took priority, but I always found time to work on some project during those years.
The last 5 years have been pretty rough and I only managed to draw fast, loose sketches using marker and a water brush. I rather enjoy the looser style and would like to move on to watercolor and ink.
As far as crocheting, I watched my grandmothers crochet, tat, quilt, and sew. I did not pick up crocheting until I went to college making my first daisy afghan. From then on I usually have a project or two in the works. I am looking forward to the class.
For the handlettering class, I've always enjoyed penmanship and lettering. I am hoping this will spur me on to working at getting better.
