Hi, I am interested in hand cut animation. Right now I'm taking some images that I tried to make as a large handprint, but wasn't able to do so.

My images are Silhouettes that are layered. I'm really enjoying the course and I'm using the techniques to work through this project.

I have a lot of interests in textiles, hand print making, Lino carving, book binding, as well as older forms of Animation like flat paper cutouts, shadow puppetry, and eventually handmade clay or fiber puppets. That's down the line though.

I'm excited to be here because I want to be part of a community of people who are doing this type of creative work and more.

My profile picture is of myself. It was about 6:30am. The yellow that you see on the ground are flowers that I was collecting to hand dye wool yarn. The sun was just right, so I snapped a few silhouettes of myself. I feel like I've found my artistic niche, my people.
