Maryse Derbo

I am an exploring mind and creative soul, an inquisitive world traveller and admirer of nature, culture, people and art.
I also try to be an artist who transforms nature’s gifts into a harmonious whole by means of tiny shattered pieces on canvas, boards, self made 3 dimensional surfaces and in photo collages.
I play with words, marble, granite, limestone, shales, colour pigments, branches, flowers, twigs and leaves, Italian Smalti, Millefiori and photos of my travels. I have always been a creative teacher, master in flower arrangements, mosaicist, painter and travel guide. I am so lucky to guide many people on their creative and, or travel path, everyone of them always gives me something back! The more I fail and succeed and do and learn, the more I realise there will be not enough time…
