I have been a dabbler, and I'd like to get better since life doesn't last forever. Mostly, I've turned out family portraits for presents. I work in oils, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media, collage--as the spirit moves me. I'm pretty much self-taught, but I've had interesting experiences, such as life workshops in the studio of the wonderful artist Tim Holmes; I spent a few months following the very talented artist Lou Archambault to plein aire sites around Helena, Montana; I've had a class in intaglio printmaking with LaVerne Krause . . .
