Matthew Carey

I spent twenty years as a musician working gig to gig, never confident that I was building a career that would one day sustain me or my loved ones in any meaningful way.

I realised that my art had touched thousands of people but I’d been ignoring the opportunity to build ongoing connections so that I could entertain, transport, and transform those people again and again. 

Now I write articles, host a podcast, hold workshops, and hopefully soon speak,  to teach people how to have a career that sustains them creatively, emotionally and financially through building an audience by design.
