Mark Donovan

I started painting in 2019, having no artistic background to speak of. I had previously dabbled with some Zentangle in 2017, and many years ago I did a small number of "painting by numbers" in acrylic paints.
However, I was inspired by a YouTube video, in Japanese with no subtitles, on the channel Watercolour by Shibasaki. From there, my journey into the watercolour rabbit-hole began...
