Mabel Barquero

I am a dyslexic with discalculia and polyglot artist, born Peruvian, I speak Spanish, English, Italian and French.
Art has always been in my veins, I started with oils on canvas when I was nineteen years old, but it was not until 2004 that I started my career as an artist studying various painting techniques on different surfaces and participating in multiple art exhibitions, my art has been exhibited and sold in England, France, Italy, and Germany.
In England I studied different techniques in the art studios as well as languages, history of art and design thinking, creativity for the 20th century in the Open University.
Upcycling vintage furniture has always attracted me, I have done renovation work on vintage furniture but I would like to move forward and learn other techniques as well as reflect my style on the furniture, this is why I joined this course
