Laura

My name is Laura, I’m a new mum and primary school teacher from Surrey. I have always loved being creative and studied a degree in Fine Art at university where I predominantly made sculptures and installations. Life took me on a path away from the arts but I am making the most of my time away from work to reignite my love of drawing and creating. Although I have spent a few years away from my paintbrush, I am inspired by the art of others and the freedom for creativity of children. So I have decided to make time again, and try not to be restrictive in the way I create. My goal is to translate the stories my dad told me as a little girl onto the page to share with my son.
