I love many mediums, water color, oil, graphite, pastels, glass. cloth, color pencil. I couldn't see well as a child but they hadn't identified it. I would look at artists and identify with the impressionists as they were painting how I saw (Monet in particular). Realism didn't exist for me outside of blurred and soft lines, a moment captured. Never sharp and crisp I thought those folks were all fantasy and lies.
