Virginia Shambo

I am a retired elementary teacher, 36 years. I have always sewn and created things. I try new things all of the time. I am currently weaving on a continuous strand loom. I have made jewelry and worked with silver clay. I often take on too much and get stressed.
As a teacher I was always taking classes to learn more about how people learn. My oldest child is Down's Syndrome. Observing his progress has helped see outside the box. He is truly a blessing.
I have tried to modify fabric before. I am looking forward to this class. I also want to print with leaves and flowers steaming them to die the fabric.
