I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fiction from the Writer's Workshop at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My specialty is writing science fiction.
I have had many experiences with a variety of career fields before getting my degree. I have experience with production management and web interface development in a corporate game development setting, and I owned an online clothing and accessories business via Etsy and Poshmark called Vera Lyndon where I sold new, vintage, and my own designs. I also worked as a professional seamstress at a department store doing alterations and repairs on any kind of garment, from dresses and t-shirts to men's suits. Additionally I worked for Buffalo Exchange, an American-based clothing resale store, as a Buyer in their San Diego location and as a Store Manager at their Chicago location.
My current primary project is a multimedia science fiction novel that includes maps and other tangible products that I am designing and making myself. I also enjoy drawing, painting, embroidery, and jewelry design. I love all kinds of arts and crafts and am always looking for ways to increase my skills, which is why I love Domestika so much.
