Juliette Mout

I am a scenographer who's always eager to learn and hungry for inspiration.
In my work I'm looking for contrasts: creating peace in chaos , creating chaos in tranquility.
I want to inspire and create an experience that lasts.

I discovered my love for opera and musical theater during my Bachelor Theatre Design in Utrecht. In my final year of my studies I interned in Moscow on costume design for COSÎ FAN TUTTE (Floris Visser).
Soon after I joined Theater Rotterdam for REVOLUTIONARY ROAD (Erik Whien), HEISENBERG (Johan Simons) HAMLET, DE FAMILIEV00RSTELLING (Pieter Kramer), HEADROOM and BOTANICAL WASTELAND (Boogaerdt & van der Schoot).
As a freelance scenographer I'm connected to KASKO in Zwolle in a team of creators such as Tim Hammer,
Anne-Maartje Lemereis and Kenza Koutchoukali, but I'm always expanding my field of work.
My passion for costume design and craftmanship is limitless. In the future I would like to design large, international opera productions.
