PERSONAL SUMMARY
Hailing from Mexico City with over 10 years of experience in the restaurant business, Chef Jorge is a whizzkid with a passion and skill that can encapsulate the "Chef Entrepreneur" concept. His key success in having started and operated 3 Mexican food restaurants in Bangkok, 1 in Yangon and another 2 in Kuala Lumpur in the last 6 years are what makes his experience impressive to anyone who has worked with him and is pursuing his expertise.
A few of his marvellous creations have been awarded as one of the best and most authentic Mexican Restaurants and were featured in major newspapers, magazines and even TV programs.
Chef Jorge is currently working on his debut recipe book, while he progresses with another creation to produce and market his speciality sauces and escalate on a journey to spearhead his food label by mid-2019.
An achievement under his belt that is worth a mention - In July 2017, Chef Jorge won the 1st prize in the professional division of the "Chili cook-off" organized by the American Embassy in Bangkok during the American Independence Day celebration.
He was also awarded the 2nd placement of "People's Choice" in the same competition.
For a year also I have been developing my own chilli sauce brand called Molli, as well as a freelance food consultant.
