I'm interested in many things but I'm mostly creative. I love the English and French countryside and hope to live somewhere more green than this city of my birth. I learned to macrame around age 10 and left it behind until a teenager during my art studies (started painting again after years in the wilderness, during Lockdown 2020). I then left the macrame again until recent years, when making potholders while working on my allotments. I've been on allotments for almost 20 years and use some of the surplus products that I grow for pickling and preserves. I also grow and use herbs for culinary and cosmetic/medicinal purposes (soaps, balms, lotions etc). But my main work involves videography, writing, editing and sometimes running a small independent, alternative international film festival, ZZUB Fest International. My heart belongs in trash & classic sci-fi pics, but I sometimes combine my creative crafts with my filmmaking, by making small films of some of my creations. Now I'm back doing more macrame, trying to push myself into creating something more than potholders! And I intend to do more video work of my crafts and the allotment. Watch this space...
