Lisa Hassell

Lisa Hassell is a creative consultant, coach and founder of Inkygoodness, a global community focused on connecting, inspiring and developing artists and creative businesses. Launching in 2010 as a passion project, Inkygoodness now has a global audience of 80k (Instagram + Twitter) made up of illustration and graphic design students, emerging artists, freelancers and creative professionals. She offers regular portfolio crits, 1:1 coaching, a group coaching programme and workshops for artists and illustrators to accelerate their personal and professional development.

In late 2021, Lisa launched Inkygoodness Collective, a curated online membership for emerging and practising creatives. Hosting regular meet-ups, free workshops and events, discussion and advice sessions, design talks with industry guests and mentoring opportunities, Inkygoodness Collective is a source of inspiration, support and creative development, connecting a growing community of artist members from around the globe.

Previously she ran WE ARE GOODNESS, a creative consultancy and illustration agency representing a diverse roster of international artists. Over the course of her career she has worked with art buyers, branding agencies, design studios, magazines and production companies to deliver illustration, typography, animation and character design for advertising campaigns, online marketing and editorial for clients including Google UX, Google Play, staat Amsterdam, Balance Magazine, The Guardian, Whitespace, New York Magazine, Sainsbury's and INNOCEAN Worldwide.

Lisa is also a published writer and arts journalist, specialising in creative business, entrepreneurship, illustration, graphic design; reporting on emerging trends, sharing industry insight and interviewing artists about their creative practice. Her words can be found on the pages of Creative Review, Computer Arts and IdN Magazine to name a few.

Her first Domestika Course 'How to Kickstart your Creative Career' will drop in early 2023.
