Angelo Zappalà

Motion Designer, 2D Animator, Illustrator, and audiovisual storyteller, with great teamwork and leadership capabilities to solve graphic problems through creativity.

In Barcelona in 2015, he worked as an audio supervisor at SAE Institute, developing audio projects for local artists. This city would become a great inspiration to continue experimenting with art beyond our ears.

On his return to Bogotá in 2018, he started Graphic Design at LCI (LaSalle College) discovering design and animation as the tools that would change his life completely. He was able to work as an art director for album covers of several local artists.

In 2019 he won the prize for 'Best Poster Design' becoming the official artwork for the 'Festival Internacional Eurocine', as well as working for a local company called 'Grupo Consultor Educativo (GCE)' producing digital content for one of the most important Colombian private institutions, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce.

During the year 2020 was into Motion Design, working for IDU (Institute of Urban Development of Bogotá), making animated pieces for the development of projects in the city such as El Corredor Verde, El Cable Aéreo, Construyendo Ciudad Región, among others.

In 2021, he co-founded his animation studio called Bunnink Animation, focusing mainly on the art of storytelling as a method to connect with audiences and users. His skills reached international attention, so Barcelona became his most recent stop, starting in the Spanish start-up Glovo.

During his role as Motion Designer in Glovo, he managed the African region (Marocco, Tunisia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, and Ivory Coast), working in more than 30+ animations for acquisition/activation channels (UAC, FB, IG, DOOH, OLV, TV) and developing new motion templates for the team. Producer of the ASO Video global (App Store Optimization) for Google Play and iOS.

In his second time returning to Colombia, Angelo developed graphic elements for clients such as Bayer, Legis & Warner Music Group. He is currently working as Motion Designer in Customer Intelligence joining the Mastercard creative team and supporting the LAC region.
