Iddo Gruengard

I am a creative, architect and a performance artist. I am passionate about the connection of body, space, social issues, narrative and disability. I have planned buildings, spaces, installation art. And I've directed immersive theatre, site specific, video art VR and live performances. The fusion between space planning and the opposing or harmonising it with the live event excites me. Ever since I'm a child, I looked at life as containers of emotions and activity. As for disability wounded at age 22 in a motorcycle accident and being in a wheelchair, made me more aware to new perspectives of life and empathy.
I have a B. arch from Tel Aviv university and a MA in performance from Central Saint Martins, London.
I'm happily married with 3 cute children, a dog and 2 cats.
